Easy Slow Cooker Post Roast

Ingredients:
• 1 Tallgrass Chuck Roast
• 1/2 packet dry onion soup mix
• 1/2 cup water
• 1 or 2 carrots, chopped
• 1/2 onion, chopped
• 1 or 2 potatoes, peeled and cubed
• 1/2 stalk celery, chopped
• Salt & pepper to tasteTake the chuck roast and season with salt and pepper to taste. Brown on all sides in a large skillet over high heat. Place in the slow cooker and add the soup mix, water, carrots, onion, pototoes, and celery. Cover and cook on low setting for 8 to 10 hours.
Serves 4.
